Adsense Banned..!!! Yikess… Now what..???

Put it in simple words this means termination of your Adsense account for good. This means a great way for you to make some cash over the internet is lost. Some of the more famous reasons for Adsense account to be banned are possibly due to one of the following reasons

- You clicked on your own ads or encouraged others to click on your ads
- Your website content were against Google’s Terms of Service (TOS) e.g. illegal stuffs like warez nulled scripts or copyrighted material or even both.
- Modifying the Adsense JavaScript
- Or a host of other reasons that’s not mentioned here. Read the full AdSense policy for further details

I've spent some time on the official Adsense Support Forums and I'd say 90% of the people who ask why their accounts were disabled have an obvious violation of the program policies on their web site. After a few questions, some finally admit that they or their friends clicked on the ads. And most of those people claim that their accounts were disabled for "no reason", even though if they had read the program policies the reason would be obvious. Those who "inadvertently" violated the policies almost always did so because they didn't bother to read and understand the rules.

So it's likely that some people get their accounts unfairly disabled, but that number is almost certainly very small. People are allowed to appeal after their accounts are disabled, and some of them do have their accounts restored, so there is justice in Google-land. But people who appeal without even bothering to try to figure out what might have caused their account to be disabled are almost never successful.

Now do not scan these words to see if there is a solution to restore your Adsense account, because there isn’t. So don’t get your hopes up to magically reactivate your Adsense account. You can appeal to Google Adsense about your termination but it won’t do any good if you knowingly broke the rules, so don’t even waste your time trying… Seriously.

But saying that Google Adsense is NOT the only way to monetize your web space. Google is no doubt the market leader when it comes to online marketing, but there are many other networks that offer similar services to that of Google Adsense. Some of the more good alternatives are;-

- Yahoo Publisher Network (Now hosted by Chitika)– Most people are turning to Chitika YPNO (Yahoo! Publisher Network Online self-service program) advertising is mainly due to their broad ad network across the web and of its already established "Yahoo" followers and users. And in some cases it is reported Chitika YPNO earnings for their site is better than Google’s but this claim is challenged by many. It all depends on the niche you eye on.

- AdBrite - Another good alternative to Google AdSense. More and more "rule breakers" are joining this ad program to increase their revenue. It has a variety of advertising methods lined up for their publishers. This is still a growing ad network, so your earnings may not be as great as it was with Google, but its still "do-able".

- BidVertiser– This network is a great alternative to both Google AdSense and Chitika YPNO. This network is currently groing rapidly, and offer similar services to that of Google and Chitika YPNO. Sign up is instant, and with its referral program it offers more broad earning opportunities to the publisher. This network has sunk in with many AdSense banned members.

- AdOnion – This Ad network is more famous with forum builders who own forums that have no control over niche or published content. This network offers many different methods of advertising to their publishers but some viewers are turned down by their excessive advertising methods. But you can control the type of ads you want to display, so you have all the tools with this network too.

Find the reasons for your AdSense application rejection here in detail and some possible precautionary measures you can take before applying for adsense

AdSense Rejected..!! End of the Road..??

This again is straight case of not adhering to Google adsense guide lines. When Google reviews your application for Adsense, they check to see if you first meet the Terms and conditions put forward by them. Most of the cases for rejection are due to

- Unapproved content by adsense
- Your site must have been active for at least 6 months before you apply for AdSense.
- You must provide accurate personal information with your application that matches the information on your page.
- Your website must contain substantial, original content.
- Your site must comply with Google AdSense program policies

If you simply follow the rules put down by Google there’s no way your application will be rejected. But due Google’s booming adsense industry and the amount of publishers that come with it, Google has introduced some new policies... Like the fact that your website must be up for at least six months just twists up the tale. Doesn’t sound fair to new comers does it..!?! But that’s how things are gonna be around with Google Adsense now on.

Well another thing is if you were rejected once already by Adsense the chances of you getting in again are very slim. I still haven’t heard about people who have had their Adsense application accepted after having more go at it after it was first rejected. Google usually sends as to why your application was not accepted, so then first of all try to address these issues and then after some time I’m sure your able to re-apply again, but whether you make it or not is completely in Google’s hands. But remember not to overdo it, you’ll do more damage than good that way.

So when applying for AdSense for the first time make sure to have a clean, healthy and especially Adsense TOS supportive web pages. If there TOS rules are not met your site is sure not to get it. So then after your site is up, wait 6 months before monetizing it with Google Adsense, build good network of traffic for your site during that time. Create more quality content for your site.

P.S – If you tried all this but still no action from Google Adsense, read my blog post on “AdSense Banned” under “Solutions” title for other alternative methods to monetize your blog other than Google AdSense.

Article Marketing for Web Traffic

Whether you’re selling a service, speaking or training, nothing persuades like offering a sample. Writing articles that highlight your style and expertise does that for you. A meaty, 600 to 800 word article is long enough to deliver a tangible taste.

Once it’s widely posted, the message can be read by thousands. Some readers will search for what else you’ve said, or click over to your website. Writing repeated in-depth articles further establishes your niche, point of view, and expertise. They’re building your name recognition and readership in short order.

Your stock-in-trade is information, so packaging it into articles makes you a content creator. The Internet voraciously demands a steady diet of new material. Websites, ezines (and now blogs) efficiently deliver ideas to targeted readers. But sad to say, too many articles consist of rehashed, low-grade material. Stand out with fresh, professional-quality information. Being a cut above builds respect and trust — a must for doing business down the road.

Local Search can Further Define Your Market

Unlike a plumber or day care center, most consultants needn’t be confined to the local arena. Your Internet exposure connects you to a national or global audience, if that’s your goal. But if your target market is closer to home, articles still help to position you.

Recent research by The Kelsey Group show that 70% use the Internet to make local buying decisions. And nowadays, 36% of search engine queries request local search results. That means the person includes a geographic term in their search engine query. For example, a query with: “employee benefit consultant” + Denver only lists the small pool of appropriate Denver providers.

Every consultant needs to make sure their information appears in local search queries, . The trend toward local search is growing quickly. Businesses can easily be left out—which makes them unfindable by online searchers. Who can afford to miss 70% of their client base? Having your own website isn’t necessary — but still helpful for a variety of reasons.

Check back soon for a full list of article submission sites that are going to most likely triple your web traffic.

Blogging for Dollars

Blogging for dollars might sound like the latest game show or some new drinking game, but it's the latest craze to hit the Internet. Bloggers began blogging for a number of reasons, but as the blog movement has increased in popularity, they have found ways to monetize their blogs and are seeing their commitment pay off.

Whether a blogger's focus is to communicate with customers or just to have fun, they have begun looking at ways to earn revenue from their blogs. The most popular ways for bloggers to earn some added cash for their pet projects are:

1. ) Google Adsense in Blogs
Google AdSense allows webmasters to dynamically serve content-relevant advertisements in blogs. If the visitor clicks one of the AdSense ads served to the blog, the website owner is credited for the referral. Webmasters need only to insert a Google-generated java script into the blog or blog template. Google's spider parses the AdServing blog and serves ads that relate to the blog's content. Google uses a combination of keyword matching and context analysis to determine what ads should be served.

2. ) Affiliate Programs (Product Endorsements)
Affiliate Programs work when an affiliate web site receives income for generating sales, leads, or traffic to a merchant website. Generally, bloggers will mention or endorse specific products and if site visitors purchase the product, bloggers will receive a portion of the sale.

3. ) Product Promotion
Businesses use blogs to detail how specific features or product add-ons can increase functionality and save time. Content-rich product promotion will help with search engine placement.

4.) Banner Ads
While less popular than in the past, websites with high traffic levels can still earn decent revenue by selling banner space.

As the Internet evolves bloggers will continue to seek out ways to monetize their opinions and thoughts. Daily journals and online blogs have become more than just a communication means to many.

What Does It Take to Make Money Online?

What a loaded question! Let’s narrow that down a bit and take it from the perspective of someone who wants to work from home and make money online in a home business. That will make it an easier question to answer.

Let’s assume you’ve never had a website, don’t know how to get a merchant account, don’t know html, and are pretty much stuck with being an expert on sending and receiving email.

Here is a list of things you can do with just a website and a hosting account today:

Sell affiliate products (products like reports, ebooks, hard goods of every conceivable make, model, size, shape and function, and much, much more).

Sell services (do you know how big a business being a Virtual Assistant is these days? It’s quite amazing what you can do for people without ever meeting them face-to-face, anywhere in the world!)

Online auctions (Ebay has made thousands and thousands of people full-time incomes from auctioning collectibles, antiques, and even brand new equipment and gadgets of all imaginable types. You name it, it has been sold on Ebay!)

The list is a long one and one I am not prepared to detail here. You have found your way onto the net and if you have been surfing for very long at all you know it is a gigantic super shopping mall. Who to you think is making the most money online? Aside from big corporations, most of the web is made up of sites put up by little businesses people work from home.

This is a great way to get your feet wet and learn what making money online is all about. People then either work to create their own products (which they get 100% of the profits from) or expand their website into other related niches.

Pay Per Click and Search Engine Optimization

Pay per click or search engine optimization, which one should you use? Many view PPC marketing as a colossal waste of money while others disdain search engine optimization. In reality, the two marketing strategies form a perfect marriage.

Pay-Per-Click - PPC

PPC marketing is a love it or hate platform. For the “love it” crowd, PPC marketing is a way to get instant exposure and feedback on site designs. In a matter of minutes, you can start receiving traffic and adjusting your site to convert the traffic at the best rate possible. For those in the “hate it” crowd, bids are to high and one never knows how may of the clicks are fake and worthless.

Search Engine Optimization – SEO

As with PPC, seo marketing has its proponents and detractors. Those who love it look at the free traffic and glorious profitability of a site that converts the traffic at a decent rate. Detractors view seo as an unnecessary waste of time since it can take a year or more to get high rankings, particularly on Google. Detractors also argue that high listings are subject to changes in the search engine ranking process, which means you can lose your rankings.

So, who is right? In truth, both sides make accurate arguments. PPC is expensive and click fraud is a monstrous problem. Seo produces free traffic, but it takes along time to get to the top and rankings are subject to the whims of search engine ranking changes. The truth, of course, is both marketing platforms should be used whenever possible.

Marketing Marriage

Every site is unique, but most should combine PPC and seo marketing as part of an overall internet marketing strategy. When starting out, the PPC campaign is critical for getting immediate traffic and tweaking the site to maximize conversions. At the same time, a seo campaign should be undertaken. As the site rises in search results, the PPC campaign should be fazed out for the relevant high listings.

PPC and seo marketing are not mutually exclusive. When married together as part of an overall marketing strategy, both platforms will deliver the goods.
